Sunday October 19th 2008 Fungi walk at 3pm. A repeat of last year's successful walk and talk with Andy Overall. Meet at the gates nearst Barons Court underground station.

Past events organised by the Friends of Margravine Cemetery
- Guided tree walks in the Spring and Autumn - though autumn 2007 the walk will be replaced by tree planting instead
- A visit to the Borough archives where we heard a presentation on the history of the Cemetery
- Bat surveys
- Monthly bird surveys
- Flower identification walks and talks
- A squirrel drey (nest) count
- A joint talk given by the parks and community constabulary
- Participation in the biological survey for London (data on flowers bats and birds)
- Talk on some of the most interesting graves
- Fungi talk and walk
- Tree and hedge planting
- Working with the local primary school - a class of 10 year olds learnt about the cemetery and also helped with the hedge planting
- Weed clearance and mulching of the newly planted trees and hedging
- Visit to Kensal Green Cemetery
